Depending on your web browser and computer preferences a variation of an authentication box will appear on your screen. Type in your username (make sure you include @umassglobal.edu) and password and click submit.

New students as well as current students can access their UMass Global email by through the following link.

Once your account is active, you may set up security questions for identification purposes. To maintain the security and privacy of your records, keep your password confidential.

Degree conferral is automatic. Upon completion of all degree requirements as indicated on the Degree Works official program evaluation, students will be awarded their degrees. Students will receive an email to their UMass Global email account with further information. See the “Graduation/Commencement” tab in MyUMassGlobal for further information.

To make the most of your online learning experience, there are several technical requirements you will need to fulfill to access Blackboard.

  • Windows Users – Windows 7 or newer
  • Apple MacOS Users – MacOS 10.15 Catalina or newer
  • Internet access
  • Web browser updated within the last 6 months
  • Microsoft Office 2016 or newer
  • Webcam with speakers and/or headset
