Please review our guidelines for ordering transcripts, it will save you time and frustration. Official transcripts are sent directly to the Office of Admissions from your previous schools.

Step 1:

Undergraduate Admission Requirements

Before you can begin your educational journey at UMass Global, you first must be admitted as an undergraduate (associate and bachelor’s degree candidates). For admission, you’ll need to meet the following requirements:

You need to have completed high school or have an equivalent level of education. To verify that, we accept any of these documents:

  • High school diploma or transcript
  • General Education Development (GED) certificate
  • State-authorized high school equivalency certificate or diploma
  • State-recognized home study certificate or transcript
  • Documentation from an approved foreign evaluation service certifying completion of international high school coursework equivalent to a United States high school diploma

In addition to the above, there may be additional specific requirements for the program you want to enroll in.

Unless you have 12 transferable credits with a combined GPA of 2.0 or higher you will need to take LBSU 100 Student Success Strategies during your first session of coursework. This course equips you with strategies designed to improve your academic success, including study skills, test taking, time management, even stress reduction.

Transfer Credits

Bringing in transfer credits saves you time and money, shortening the time it takes to earn your degree.

These types of coursework may be transferrable:
  • University of Massachusetts Global coursework
  • Coursework from other regionally accredited post-secondary institutions
  • Military training
  • Dual credit
  • AP Advanced Placement coursework
