ADA Tickets
During the registration process, graduating students can designate if they need ADA accommodations or if any of their guests need ADA guest tickets.
Curbside Drop Off
Curbside drop off is available at commencement. View the Winter Commencement parking map for the curbside drop off location designated off 15th Street.
Early Entry
Attendees with ADA guest tickets will have the opportunity for them and one general admission ticketed companion guest to enter the venue before general admission seating begins. For the 2025 Winter Commencement, ADA guests and one companion my arrive for early entry at 9:30 a.m. See ceremony schedule for more information.
ADA Seating
There will be designated guest seating on the ground level for our attendees with ADA guest tickets and one companion. At the 2025 Winter Commencement, attendees with ADA guest tickets and one companion will be able to sit in the ADA guest seating area and the rest of their party will need to find seats nearby in the general guest seating area.
Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing
At the Winter Commencement, captioning is available on your personal mobile device by visiting the captioning website. A link to be provided closer to the ceremony.
If you need ASL interpretation, please request this by emailing commencement@umassglobal.edu at least 4 weeks prior to the ceremony.
Wheelchair Resources
The university does not provide wheelchairs or carts at the event. Please come prepared with your own assistive devices. Graduating students and guests can rent a wheelchair from one of the local wheelchair vendors.
