Executive Certificate in Public and Nonprofit Leadership
This certificate program is intended for executives, managers and other professionals from the nonprofit, public or civic sectors who wish to enhance their ability to lead and inspire employees and volunteers, as well as create and implement positive change in any organization.
Public and Nonprofit Leadership Program Overview
The Executive Certificate in Public and Nonprofit Leadership has been developed for executives, managers and other professionals from the nonprofit, public or civic sectors who wish to enhance their ability to lead and inspire volunteers as well as create and implement positive change in any organization. Certificate-only students and students who have completed their degrees are not eligible for financial aid.
As a student, you will:
- Learn new ways to motivate and instill passion in employees and community member so they engage themselves in nonprofit activities.
- Master methods for integrating nonprofit, service-oriented initiatives into organizations.
- Develop innovative strategies to expand and improve nonprofit and service-oriented initiatives in organizations.

Admission Requirements
Applicants for this graduate certificate program must complete the formal application process with all required documents, which include:
- Completed application
- 2.75 grade point average (GPA)
- Official transcripts from all regionally accredited institutions where baccalaureate and/or post-baccalaureate coursework was completed or attempted
Only credits from regionally accredited institutions may be accepted in transfer. Failure to report any previous academic work at another college or university may be considered a violation of academic integrity.
