Christian is the Accessible Technology and Alternate Format Specialist for the Office of Accessible Education at the University of Massachusetts Global. Christian provides technology assistance and training for students with disabilities on how to use their Assistive Technology software or devices. In addition to conducting Assistive Technology consultations, Christian manages the procurement of accessible and alternative format textbooks for UMG students.
Prior to joining UMG, Christian graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a Psychology major. He has worked in diverse educational settings and has previous experience within disability resources which includes assisting children with visual impairments and global developmental delays. Christian’s areas of interest include mental health and diversity, equity, and inclusion in programming or web development for accessibility. When Christian is not in the office, he loves to go bike riding, host BBQs, and bake, especially giant cookies!
