Emeritus Faculty
Emeritus Faculty
Emeritus faculty members, as retirees, are valued members of the university who have contributed to the distinguished academic level of the University. Their focus on student mentoring and service to their communities has driven the University of Massachusetts Global’s philosophy, integrity, and critical thought for decades of students.
Faculty who have attained the rank of professor or associate professor before retirement and have fifteen or more years of full-time academic service (at least the last five as a faculty member at the University of Massachusetts Global) may be granted the rank of faculty emeritus by the Chancellor upon recommendation of the Dean, the Faculty Personnel Committee, and the Provost.
