Knowing what Evidence-Based Practices are and how to implement them with fidelity is vital to one’s professional teaching practice to properly meet the needs of students with ASD (Odom et al, p. 275, 2010).

Evidence-based practices (EBPs) are the cornerstone on which teachers design educational programs for learners with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs). These same EBPs can also be applied to support all learners. In this webinar, participants will learn how to leverage 3 different evidence-based practices to support all learners in the classroom. Explore ways to implement Antecedent-Based Intervention, Visual Supports, and Self-Management to meet the needs of students with and without ASD.

In this webinar you will:

  • Learn what Evidence-based Based Practices (EBPs) are and how to access the 28 EBPs to support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs)
  • Understand which Antecedent-Based Interventions can prevent or decrease challenging behaviors in students with and without ASD
  • Explore various visual supports that can be used to support students with and without ASD and how to implement them effectively
  • Acquire knowledge of how self-management techniques can be used effectively with a variety of learners in the classroom
