According to the Anxiety & Depression Association of America, anxiety disorders are the most common psychiatric disorders globally. In the U.S., anxiety affects 6.8 million adults or 3% of the U.S. population, yet only 43% are receiving treatment.
Identifying symptoms of anxiety disorders is key to a proper diagnosis. In this webinar, participants will understand the signs and symptoms associated with anxiety disorders as identified in the DSM 5-TR. Participants will learn evidence-based techniques such as deep breathing and grounding exercises to help manage anxiety symptoms. The session will also review best practices for treating anxiety, equipping participants with practical strategies to support and offer interventions to clients.
