Clear Administrative Services Credential
If you strive to become an educational leader in California, the Clear Administrative Services Credential is a must. This two-year credential program will prepare you for high-level K-12 administrative roles.
Clear Administrative Services Credential (CASC) Program Overview
The Clear Administrative Services Credential (CASC) is for current administrators who hold an active Preliminary Administrative Services Credential (PASC). Authorized by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC), this two-year program is an online, job-embedded, two-year coaching program. You are paired with an induction coach, an experienced school administrator who provides one-on-one coaching and mentoring in the student’s workplace. A concurrent enrollment option with UMass Global’s Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership is available to students who are interested in earning a CASC and a doctorate at the same time. As a Clear Credential Administrative Services (CASC) student you will:
- Develop, coordinate, and assess instructional programs
- Supervise, evaluate and discipline certificated and classified personnel
- Create effective students discipline process

Admission Requirements
- Be a California resident
- Hold an active Preliminary Administrative Services Credential (PASC)
- Current employment as an administrator
Please Note: Students must be admitted no later than 5 weeks prior to the start of desired session for enrollment. This allows the Induction Coach to be hired (if site based is selected) or pairing to be arranged (if UMass Global coach is selected), onboarding activities to be complete, and the program orientation attended.

University of Massachusetts Global will provide an Induction Coach or students have the option to work with a self-selected Induction Coach from their school district/community.
